Sugar Sync Free is Going Away

by | Dec 14, 2013 | News, Tech Tips for Small Business | 0 comments

If you’ve been using a free Sugar Sync account to sync your files to the cloud and other devices, you need to know that Sugar Sync is discontinuing its free service as of February 8th. You will either need to sign up for a paid subscription or switch to another service. Plans start pretty cheaply, so if you’re happy with the service you may wish to upgrade. Prices are based on how much data you are storing, so make sure you don’t pay for more space than you need.

By the way, Sugar Sync is great for residential users, but doesn’t have the kind of security that businesses require. (Neither does Dropbox.) If you are interested in other cloud storage options, contact us!
