Our Team
Geek Girls IT Services has been delivering exceptional service across New Jersey and New York since 2005, built on a foundation of integrity, reliability, and expertise. Below, meet the core team members who make that possible.

Roberta Piket
Senior Consultant and CEO
Roberta is the founder of Geek Girls IT Services. She holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Tufts University, which she earned concurrently with a bachelor’s degree in jazz piano from New England Conservatory.
Roberta leads our business strategy and oversees client relationships, internal operations, policy development, and risk management. Her work ensures Geek Girls IT Services runs efficiently, serves clients effectively, and maintains strong operational safeguards.
Roberta worked briefly as a software engineer (at the long-defunct Digital Equipment Corporation) before pivoting to a career as a professional jazz pianist. Roberta’s interest in IT support began when, as a working artist with limited financial resources, she was motivated to solve her own computer problems. In 2005 she founded Geek Girls to provide IT support to New York and New Jersey companies.
Roberta is proud of Geek Girls IT Services’ unique status as a certified woman-owned computer services business in New Jersey.

Gina Bartolino
Office Administrator
With a background in Human Resources, Gina brings a people-first mindset, strong customer service skills, and administrative know-how to support both our technicians and customers.
Gina proactively handles administrative processes and coordinates team and client communications, ensuring clients feel supported and understood while delivering excellent service.
Always eager to learn something new, Gina was drawn to Geek Girls IT Services for our empathetic, client-centered approach as well as our status as a woman-owned business.
A New Jersey native, Gina loves spending time with family and friends, including her beagles, and continues her lifelong passion for dance by taking classes, teaching, and performing at local events.

Matthew P.
Senior IT Specialist
Matthew has been with Geek Girls IT Services since 2018. He first became interested in technology when he was twelve. “My mother bought a computer for my brother and me”, he recalls, “and I took it apart. When I put it back together it was fully functional! From that point on I would take apart any electronics that I could get my hands on and learn everything about them.”
Matthew ensures our clients’ technology environments run smoothly, securely, and efficiently, provides leadership to our technical team, and helps shape solutions that proactively meet our clients’ evolving needs. He also oversees our internal security.
Although he has a degree in Network Systems Administration, Matthew considers himself largely self-taught.
In addition to technology, Matthew enjoys riding his Banshee Two-Stroke Quad and spending time with his wife and children.

Alexis Lucio
IT Specialist
Alexis has been interested in technology since childhood. She studied Electrical Engineering in college, but prefers information technology.
Alexis provides technical support and troubleshooting across client systems, addresses security alerts and network issues, and ensures users have reliable access to technology. She has extensive experience with operating systems, as well as network and server administration. Her technical resourcefulness and strong customer service skills bring significant value to the team.
Alexis has been with Geek Girls IT Services since 2022. In her free time, Alexis produces EDM, pop, and rock music.
