Many of our clients are using Genie Soft Backup Manager to automatically back up their computers to an external hard drive or ftp site. Most of them are not interested in learning how to use the software; they just want to know that it works and that their data is safe. However, a few intrepid souls have requested more specific info on how to use the software.
One of the things I like about Genie is that it’s very reliable and simple to set up. If you find you need a little more help, I suggest you view the software’s video tutorials.
Video tutorials are available from the program or from the Genie-Soft web site.
To open the Genie software, look for the Genie icon in the system tray (lower right-hand corner of your screen). The Genie icon looks like this:
Right-click the icon and click “Open…”. If the Welcome Screen does not pop up, you can access the Welcome Screen from the Help Menu. From the Welcome Screen, links to other video tutorials are available.
