If you receive an email soliciting registration for Apple Maps, know that the company sending this email has nothing to do with Apple. It’s a scam to get you to pay for something you can do yourself (or have an intern do) – register your business with Apple Maps.
The tiny tiny fine print will eventually tell you this, but possibly not before you forked over $400 to get “registered“ with Apple Maps.
Beware of any emails coming from the amrlocal.com domain.
